Angela is a holistic women’s health nurse practitioner with 30 years of service in women’s health and 20 years of experience as a board certified NP specializing in gynecology, menopause, mental health and sexual health. She has a private medical practice in Eugene and is delighted to offer separately EPIC Intake services, as well as psilocybin facilitation services at EPIC Healing Eugene (Angela’s facilitator’s license is pending).
Angela is devoted to creating a highly personalized, nurturing and safe journey for each psilocybin participant. From the preparation meetings, the psilocybin session(s) and the integration of the experience into daily life, she is dedicated to supporting your process however that unfolds uniquly for you. Angela particularly enjoys the extended time allotted for deep emotional release, insights and healing that are unique to a psilocybin journey.
In her free time Angela is fond of both fiction and non fiction reading, comedy shows, practicing yoga, remote nature, spending quality time with loved ones and free form dancing with a focus on feeling great versus looking good.
Angela earned her Master’s Degree in Science from the University of Colorado at Denver Health Sciences Center, a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Regis University in Denver, and a Bachelor’s in Human Services/Counseling from National Luis University in Chicago. She has extensive additional training in functional medicine or root cause medicine. Her varied leadership roles, including clinician, teacher, sex educator, counselor and researcher have all been dedicated to improving the practice and delivery of women’s health in both public and private health care settings. Although the Oregon Health Authority’s rules are clear that facilitators cannot dually use their health care licenses in the context of facilitating the psilocybin experience, Angela's decades of devoted service to health and healing is deeply appreciated here at EPIC Healing Eugene.
Angela graduating from Inner Trek Facilitator’s Training Program, helps EPIC with intake calls and retreat planning. She has a special interest in working with women who have experienced trauma, as well as supporting health care professionals in their healing and exploration of self-discovery and renewal of purpose. We are excited that Angela has joined our EPIC/Radiant Heart Consulting Team.
Angela has a Worker Permit from OHA, Oregon Psilocybin Services, and is a Senior Licensed Facilitator.
