What clients are saying about Jack:

Jack was incredibly helpful and did a tremendous job guiding a newbie… to have the most wonderful and spectacular trip. His experience and calm demeanor allowed me to relax, feel safe, and enjoy the process from start to finish.

I can’t imagine doing this again without Jack’s support. His knowledge, experience, and compassion made all the difference to me.

Jack was/is beyond amazing with the heart and care he puts into making this a quality and meaningful experience for us.

Personal Statement: Since October of 2023, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a facilitator at EPIC/RHC, where each client I meet deepens my sense of purpose in this work. I approach every psilocybin session with care, often dedicating extra time to preparation and integration to ensure each person receives the support they need. This work is not just what I do—it’s who I am. Whether guiding clients through their experiences, attending nearly every preparation and integration group we offer, or supporting our mission behind the scenes as operations manager and an intake specialist, I am fully immersed in this path.

During my time here, I feel I’ve come to understand what truly matters in a facilitator. With that in mind, here are a few things I believe are important to know about me as you make your facilitator decision:

Approach to Facilitation - I “hold space” with a calm, grounding presence in order to offer clients the care, knowledge, and support they need to discover their own inner truths through the lens of psilocybin. Tailoring the experience toward a person’s unique needs is a top priority of mine.

I believe that music is the heartbeat of a psilocybin session and shapes the emotional landscape of the experience–fortunately, curating this sonic journey is one of my greatest strengths, which is a sentiment my clients have echoed with enthusiasm. Additionally, I’m an advocate of “standing on the shoulders of giants,” so I keep up to date on contemporary research and am well-read on the work produced in previous eras. In these ways and more, my approach is both intuitive and informed. I take the time to truly understand those I work with, share knowledge to empower their path, and offer genuine care from the heart.

Psychedelic Experience - Through many journeys into the psychedelic landscape, I’ve learned to walk the line between surrender and intention, between the mysteries of the mind and the grounding force of daily life. After over a decade of working with psychedelics, I understand how to navigate these altered states with clarity, always returning with something of value to integrate and share. This lived experience allows me to serve as a steady guide for others and help them navigate the terrain of their own journeys with care and insight. To remain attuned to this work, I continue to explore these spaces myself by engaging in personal psilocybin sessions several times a year, which ensures that I walk the path alongside those I support.

Professional and Personal Background - My background is rooted in psychological neuroscience, where I’ve worked as a researcher and co-authored multiple publications. I’ve even had the opportunity to contribute to research on psilocybin, deepening my understanding of its potential to transform one’s psyche. While the bulk of my professional background is in academic research, I’ve also gotten outside the proverbial ivory tower with work in business-to-business sales and education.

Beyond the lab, my curiosity and sense of fun has always extended into the larger questions of existence. I’ve spent years exploring psychology, philosophy, metaphysical science, and religion in search of common threads and mechanisms that could be useful in living an extraordinary life. Keeping a sense of levity and humor is also important to me, so I always make time for laughs with friends. Meditation, hiking, and music are my touchstones, keeping me grounded as I continue to grow. Most recently, I’ve been working toward certification as a yoga instructor and performing original music at local venues.
